End of year
Year is ending and for cosplay this was good year for me. I made eight cosplays and also used old ones. I attended 13 cons (which is a lot and maybe too much ; D) I was cosplay judge for the first time and ended up being judge in two cons (three positions). I cosplayed with my friends~ I met new awesome people and made new friends. And even managed to have photoshoot day for two cosplays in October (photos coming soon plus photos from cons during this year).
Con year starts with Desucon Frostbite in end of January. There I'll be working in cosplay team. I have some thoughts of what I'll wear there but no 100% sure plans. I want to make some new stuff but also would like to use old cosplays and cosplay with my friends. I know Saturday goes fully to working so I won't make any big plans to that.
I have started some new projects but I'm not sure what I'll be able to finish to Frostbite.
Then next con is Yukicon in February. There I have the honor to be one of cosplay judges. Again I have some ideas but I'm not fully sure what to wear. Feelings tend to change and also there is the problem of finding right materials : D
Some of next cons haven't been announced yet so I'm not sure what comes after these. In March there is Tampere comic festival which I'm probably going to attend and then in May I'll go to Popcult Helsinki where I and rhaion are going to take part in cosplay contest. I'm looking forward to next years cosplays and cosplaying with my friends~~

Last months of this year
I have attented many cons (nine already) and in two I was one of cosplay judges~ It's been good year, I have many more cosplays than last year and more still coming~~
Next con is on next weekend, Tracon in Tampere. I'm going there with Sabo (One Piece) on Saturday (with Luffy) and on Sunday we have small Valar group and I'll be bringing Tulkas. I still need to do some fiixing to both cosplays ^^"
After that there's still some cons I'll be attending this year:
Shippocon (24.9.2016)
- this isn't 100% sure yet 'cos if something else happens on this weekend, I might not go there. But cosplay is planned! I'll be Anri (Adekan) as his black haired version and I have Shiro with me~<3
Aicon (5.-6.10.2016)
- this is Japan and Korea fashion and music con but there is few things I'm interested and it happens in my town so why not. I'll be working there. Cosplays I haven't thought much yet but maybe Anri and something else ; )
School starts on next week, let's see what it offers~
End of year
But only for two months. Well now only one : D And that doesn't mean I won't be making cosplays. ^^
And I need to be making cosplay since I realised I have to make four new, kinda big cosplay for next two cons, which are in January and February ^^" I'm regretting this a bit since during this year I only managed to make four cosplays and only two (Andre and Sousei) where kinda big. But I'm really looking forward to these cosplays~
So next year starts with cosplay ball on January 2rd. rhaion is my pair and we have couple of ideas what we are going to wear~ ; ) I have never danced. Until now I only knew how to dance waltz. But I have attended three dance rehearsals and I'm surprised those have gone well and I have really liked to dance and I'm looking forward to the ball~
Then starts con season:
Desucon Frostbite (January)
- I'll be AMV competition judge there and current plan for cosplays are Carlos (WtNV) with at least Cecil, Sabo (One Piece) and one which I'm not gonna tell yet ; )
Yukicon (February)
- I'll attend here only if I'll get to work there since ticket price is deadly... Cosplays are Tulkas (Silmarillion) with group and Suoh Mikoto (K project) with at least couple of Homra members : )
[Nekocon Winter (March)
- This will only happen if I won't be selected as worker to Yukicon]
Tampere Comic festival (March)
- I have been thinking about cosplaying from One Piece only in here.
Popcult Helsinki (April)
- Lot of love to this con~
Cosvision (April)
- This one will be in my town so I'm really happy I don't have to travel anywhere ; D One cosplay will be Konnosuke from Zone-00
I think I'm not gonna list any further than this xD I counted that there is 10-11 cons/etc which I could attend next year and that's a lot. Nowadays I'm working in almost all cons so that saves a lot of money.

What does your username mean? "Emery" is just name I picked up at some point when I was searching names for story and wanted to add surname-like part after it and ended up with "dragonfly" 'cos I like dragonflies and it fit well ^^

What is your favourite type of art to create? Cosplay (I think it's art) but when it comes to art art I like drawing and watercolors.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Drawing/coloring with graphics tablet 'cos I have had it for year and half now and I haven't had much time to learn draw with it.

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? 99,9% just cosplay x'D
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Aaaah, this is hard one... I have to say multiple ones 'cos I can't decide. AmenoKitarou is damn talented and funny guy and admire his skills, Cvy is gorgeous cosplayer, FujimiyaRan and stormyprince make everytime such high quality cosplays and they introduced The Mortal Intruments to me which I'm forever grateful and last but definetly not least SirFlamboyantWreck whom I have followed in Youtube since the start of his and his friends cosplay videos and whom inspired me to cosplay and I love to see his talented cosplays in here too.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? Hmmm, I have to say SirFlamboyantWreck and others in Parle Productions. Maybe someday~ *v*
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? My "role models" in cosplay have inspired my own hobby and of course my friends in here have had huge impact~
What are your preferred tools to create art? Watercolors, pencils, charcoal. I hope that graphic tablet will be someday.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Mostly alone in my apartment or so.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Moments when I have commented someone's cosplay photo or someone has commented mine and that has started conversation ^^ Also talking with Iuvenis-Machina years ago, before we finally met this year~ : D
Updating~~
In Frostbite one dream came true since I was cosplaying from Rose of Versailles with mminwe~ I love those cosplays~ Also met a new friend~~ ;3
In Tampere kuplii we had small group of Les Amis boys and then I wore Suga on Sunday~
Popcult on April was really great since it was for western fandoms~ I was working there and I had great time. Cosplays were Crowley and Cecil~
Then finally I and my sisters attended Ropecon! We have been talking about going there for years~ It was really nice to visit there again (last time was 2007 lol) and I was also working there~ It was really refreshing and I met some old friends!
And against all plans I ended up going to Desucon last weekend. And that only because I was asked to be one of AMV contest judges~! It was really awesome and great honor and I'm looking forward to be judge at least in next Frostbite~ : 3 And all in all Desucon was little weird (maybe 'cos my sisters weren't there ; D) but it was one of best Desucons~ Also I met some new people and got to know some of our Donten ni Warau group people and aaa, it was really nice~
Surprisingly the surgery I talked about was on last Monday right after Desucon~ : D It went well and I'm feeling much better than I thought I would and I'm healing already~ :3 Only bad thing was that I got so much inspiration to do cosplays from Desucon but I can't at least for awhile. ^^ I need to bottle this energy and use it once I'm healed enough ; )
Next con will be Animecon on July. Not sure of my cosplays yet. I'm thinking about finishing Giotto (finally!) since I have contact lenses for him now.
I have some cosplay plans. There will be Donten ni Warau group in Tracon and I'll be Abe no Sousei in it ; 3 In Desucon I was talking to Sosuo that it would be nice to have Homra group (from K project) and now we are planning to have one with our friends. I'll finally finish my Mikoto cosplay ; D
Then there was talks about cosplaying from Zone-00 and I started to make cosplay from Adekan and from Shin Megami Tensei games and this one great anime and aaaa, so many ideas. I'm hyped~ I'd like to cosplay Munakata too from K (fucking K feels) and aksfjlasf.
